Garden room pavilion

Private house - Hampshire

The brief was to provide a small 1 room garden pavilion to replace an existing conservatory.

We needed to find a solution that was complimentary to the Listed 19th century host house, but also orientated towards the garden, (45 degrees to the house facade). This project became an exploration into typology and character

4 options were tested that explored twisted, corner and diagonal geometries.

The site and location is confidential so the wider garden and context is not shown.
