Project architect - Apicella Associates - 1992

This promotional mobile pavilion was designed to travel throughout the UK.

It folded out of a standard 13m lorry tailer, using hydraulics for the main lifts and manual assembly. Solutions were developed with models and section drawings, including hands on tests, with mock ups in the fabricator’s workshop.

Two travelling units were built and featured on the BBC’s Tomorrow’s World programme.
