The project replaced an existing covered swimming pool, occupying its footprint.

With the principle living spaces on the upper floor, the house enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The design has sought to manage solar gains (whilst maintaining views) through the use of sliding shutters that adjust to follow seasonal sun path.

A half elliptical stair connects to the bedrooms on the lower floor.
