This senior living “Empty nester” project looked to re-purpose the original period house on the site into 6 large apartments, with the potential addition of a spa and health club.

To the back of the house, mews and roadside cottages were arranged around a courtyard.

A cluster of 8 apartments, backing onto a walled garden, stepped down the slope and into the woodland spaces to the front of the original house.

With each intervention, the intension was to preserve the setting and character of the original house.
